This Privacy Policy describes how Cultverse ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website at cultverse.ai, our mobile applications, and all other electronic or digital products and services that reference this policy (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
When you access or use our Services, we collect information from you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Services. We collect data you provide directly, data we automatically receive from your interactions, and data from other sources.
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide when you use the Services, including:
- Wallet Information: Your blockchain wallet address, which serves as your primary identifier when you authenticate using Sign-In With Ethereum (SIWE).
- Profile Information: Display name, biography, and profile avatar that you choose to provide.
- Social Account Links: If you choose to link your X (Twitter) or Discord accounts, we receive your username and, for Discord, your email address and guild membership status.
- Chat Communications: Messages you send to AI companions, including text content, timestamps, and conversation context.
- Voice Data: If you use voice features, text you submit for text-to-speech synthesis. We do not store voice recordings.
- Feedback: Ratings, comments, and feedback you provide about AI responses or the Services.
- Creator Applications: If you apply to be a creator, we collect project information, contact details, and social media profiles you submit.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you use our Services, we automatically collect:
- Usage Data: Session duration, pages visited, companions interacted with, quests completed, gems earned, and raffle entries.
- Device Information: Device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Analytics Data: Interactions with our Services collected through Google Analytics and our internal analytics systems.
- Blockchain Data: Publicly available information from the Monad blockchain, including NFT ownership, raffle participation, and transaction history.
Information From Other Sources
We may receive information from:
- Referrals: If you were referred by another user, we receive information linking your account to the referrer.
- Third-Party Platforms: When you connect accounts like Discord or X (Twitter), we receive information according to your permissions with those platforms.
- Blockchain Networks: Publicly available on-chain data related to your wallet address.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and Operate Services: To authenticate your account, enable AI companion interactions, process raffle entries, track gems and rewards, and deliver the core functionality of our platform.
- Personalization: To customize your experience, remember your preferences, and maintain conversation context with AI companions.
- Analytics and Improvements: To understand how users interact with our Services, identify trends, measure performance, and improve our AI models and features.
- Communication: To send you service-related notifications, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activities, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
- AI Training and Development: To improve and develop our AI systems, including training models to provide better responses. See Section 3 for more details.
3. AI Companion Interactions
Our Services include AI-powered companions that you can interact with through text and voice. Here's what you should know:
- Message Processing: Your messages are processed by third-party AI providers (currently xAI) to generate responses. These providers may process your messages according to their own privacy policies.
- Conversation History: We store your conversation history to maintain context, enable the "memory" feature, and improve your experience across sessions.
- Voice Features: Text submitted for text-to-speech is processed by Resemble AI. We cache audio temporarily for performance but do not permanently store voice data.
- No Human Review: Your individual conversations are not routinely reviewed by human employees. However, we may review content in response to reports, for safety purposes, or to improve our systems.
- AI Limitations: AI companions are not real people and may generate inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected responses. Do not share sensitive personal information in conversations.
4. When We Disclose Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting (Supabase), AI processing (xAI, Resemble AI), analytics (Google), and payment processing.
- Public Information: Your wallet address, display name, profile avatar, and leaderboard rankings may be visible to other users. Blockchain transactions are publicly visible on-chain.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to comply with legal processes.
- Safety and Security: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Cultverse, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
- With Your Consent: When you direct us to share information with third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services:

7. Data Storage and Security
Storage
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. Avatar images are stored in private buckets with access controlled through our API. Blockchain data is stored on the Monad network and is publicly accessible.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and secure authentication via SIWE. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8). Some data may be retained longer for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or to enforce our agreements. Blockchain data is immutable and cannot be deleted.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request information about the data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data via your profile settings.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Opt-Out: Unlink social accounts, disable marketing communications, or manage cookie preferences.

Note: Some data, such as blockchain transactions and on-chain raffle entries, cannot be deleted as they are recorded on a public blockchain.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at tom@cultverse.ai, and we will take steps to delete such information.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice such as a banner on our Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
